History

Little Angels Nursery and Preschool was built by Narula Esther in 2014 on her father’s land in the Namayingo District of Nakundi, Eastern Unganda.

Situated in a small, remote village with no water or electricity, Little Angels was meant to save local youth the grueling 6.2 mile trek to the closest school.

The distance made education inaccessable to many residents and was the very reason why Narula, herself, was forced to discontinue her education as a girl. This heroic effort began by serving seven and has since grown to include 640 registered students.

INSPIRE THE MIND

Little Angels recognizes that education is essential to growth and opportunity. This is why we are one of the only COST FREE educational options for children in the region. We believe every family deserves the benefits of higher learning regardless of financial status.

NOURISH THE BODY

Another essential component of serving our angels is nutrition. Very often, these under-privileged students will receive their ONLY meal of the day at our school. Nourishing both minds and bodies is at the core of what we do at Little Angels.

PROMOTE JOY

At Little Angels, while we believe healthy minds and bodies serve as a great start, we also understand that chidlren need to engage in both social and physical endeavors with peers to find real joy. We continue to work hard to provide stimulating activities and equipment to promote this concept.
